We all value the overlap of our specialities in the NeuroInterventional space. However, open neurosurgical cases should be performed by trained neurosurgeons.
Interesting paper by Ameer E. Hassan . I would ask how does having a neurosurgeon creating cranial access for the interventionist to aspirate clot 1. advance quality patient care? 2. improve cost of care (two services doing a procedure one service can do)? #progress?
