Relax, Leafs Nation. With Kampf and Holmberg locked up, the Buds will be just fine. It’s just a matter of filling in a few support positions now.

I understand Doug doing this - totally in character - but how is it Caroline was not just way too embarrassed to accept it?

Since taking office, Ford has cancelled 750 renewable energy projects costing taxpayers $230 million and axed efficiency programs that help people save money. Ontarians will pay the price for this government’s refusal to embrace renewables in favour of high-cost SMRs. #onpoli

“After getting elected in 2018, Ford cancelled more than 700 renewable energy projects at a cost of $231 million, and the province, which was once the Canadian leader in building wind and solar, hasn’t built any since.”

Nice move, Doug: simultaneously re-instated an honourable tradition and stripped it of any meaningful honour. No thanks’: Ford government only offered King’s Counsel title to Tory ex-attorneys general thestar.com/politics/provi… via @torontostar

Proof that Doug possesses a particular kind of brilliance: able to simultaneously reinstate an honourable tradition and strip it of all honour. thestar.com/politics/provi…

I remember reading in the news about “Christian gunmen” in Lebanon when I was a teenager. Reading about the behaviour of “conservative Christians” now feels as oxymoronic. And I say that as one who is, theologically at least, a fairly “conservative” Christian.

A sad loss. Segal was, in his time, the archetype of a Canadian-style Progressive Conservative: fiscally conservative and socially progressive. Those days are gone, and it’s an enormous loss for 🇨🇦. (Says one who has never voted Con.) cbc.ca/news/politics/…

Does it strike anyone else as particularly fitting that Musk, as a political conservative, would choose as the (unnecessary) new symbol for this app a large black X? A philosophy of negation…

We have two choices: we can build the homes we actually need, in the places where we need them, or we can sell off environmentally sensitive land that will put billion$ in the pockets of Doug and his developer friends.

If this guy is back, I’m out. See you, Twitterworld. You were better under the bird than the black X, as weirdly appropriate as it may be.
