Climate change is happening to us ! Meanwhile Govt busy reducing climate emission reduction obligations for companies because doing nothing works ? Kaikoura and Porangahou are burning because of what deniers call “ weather” sigh

Luxon and Brian Roche: "Why won't the unions get around the table?" Meanwhile, rejects meetings from doctors and teachers, and stands up our firefighters and nurses. Bad faith, Prime Minister. #nzpol #kiwi

Thames turn out of nurses and teachers and supporters for the mega strike - passionate nurses speaking about risk to patients right now, it’s not just pay and conditions it’s education and health crisis

So the temperature is 30 degrees higher in Antarctica and these winds are next level - but there is no climate crisis and nothing is connected !

Indonesia is burning Bird of Paradise plumes in West Papua. This is an attack on the heritage of the whole of New Guinea, Papua New Guinea as well as West Papua. Bird of Paradise is part of our shared culture from Sorong to Samarai. West Papuans are not only facing genocide and

Scientists are also warning that the melting at the South Pole is fastest on earth and could lead to considerable sea level rise - but while we impacted somr people will continue to say it’s not connected or it’s not happening

Far out - I went out to plant beans and when I came back found they took Te Tiriti out of school boards and are planning 100 changes to the Fast track law to reduce any chance of protecting the environment !

Catherine Delahunty (@greencatherine) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It would be good if the media asked Shane Jones if the proposed law changes to the Fast Track will be retrospective because we right in the middle of the damn process !

Catherine Delahunty (@greencatherine) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Nicola Willis just so wrong about School Boards - Does she know that some boards cannot name children’s Iwi - does she have any idea why this matters ? Learning is connected to identity affirmation. Why school was so easy for me as a Pākehā, affirmed and rewarded my normal !

Catherine Delahunty (@greencatherine) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So Minister Jones says the new law will apply to any fast track proposals already in process which is the opposite of the convention that proposals applied for under current law stay under that law - he is talking about sea bed mining and mining conservation land proposals

Good policy work on mining by the Greens and before my trolls go wild about jobs try reading the Waihi North detail ( it’s only 11,000 pages ) and a timeline which tells another story. Also they intend to kill rarest frogs and have no real data on water risks, for foreign profit

Great to see hundreds of schools standing up for the progress being made on Te Tiriti, whatever Govt says many educators and Boards are not going to give up

I agree with Winston Peters that Pike River is murder - corporate murder, capitalism drove that company to exploit the workforce to their deaths ! No one has been held to account. I like the CTU support for a Members Bill on this
