We were able to host our Year 5 and 6 sports day last week. It was great to see the children taking part in a competitive event to win points for their house teams. The children's sportsmanship was excellent. We can't wait to find out the winning house in assembly this week.

This term, we have started a mindfulness after school club. In their first session this week they made their own nature pictures. Take a look at their creations...

On Friday, our Year 5 children participated in a hate crime workshop led by our local PSCO. They learned about discrimination based on religion, race, gender, disability, and transgender identity, and examined scenarios to identify hate crimes.

This week, some Year 6 pupils visited the Churchview care home. We received this from the manager: "Thank you for letting the pupils visit our residents. They are a credit to the school. The residents smiled, laughed and enjoyed playing board games. We cannot thank you enough."

We're delighted to announce our school has achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year. A Government-led award, facilitated by Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across school & in the community.

Yesterday, as part of their activities week, the Year 4 children took part in a Zumba session. They didn't let the rain deter them and danced their way through the shower! It was great to see them all enjoying a new activity.

The year 4 children continued to explore new games and experiences today. Quidditch was a big hit. The children showed great collaboration and communication to develop their strategic approaches. Another enjoyable day, this time in the sunshine!

The Swindon Music Service wowed children at Grange Infant & Junior Schools with some amazing tunes during the Rock and Pop Music Roadshows on Tuesday. Each school offers 2 roadshows per year as part of our children's music enrichment. A great time was had by all.

Olivia! Congratulations to Year 6 who worked so hard this week to put on outstanding performances for parents, families & friends, as well as the rest of the school. They've shown real strength & confidence in their performances. What a success it's been, we are so proud of them!

Following the Year 6 production, some of our Year 6's went to visit our local care home to sing a selection of songs to the residents. The children showed our school values really come to light. We would like to thank the staff and residents for welcoming us this year.

Yesterday, Year 6 held their leaver's service. It was a chance to come together as a year group with parents and guardians to celebrate success across our primary years and to share our favourite memories. At the end, we gave out our annual awards. Good Luck Year 6!

Year 3 & 4 had a fantastic time at the STEM Williams Racing F1 visit. They designed and built F1 nose cones, raced in simulators, and explored the museum to learn how the cars were made and which professional drivers had raced them. A brilliant day of learning!
