Officials Report: We have an upward trend in the numbers of officials in Idaho. Overall, we are now over 2,300 officials in the state. This is up just over 500 from two years ago. The numbers show that we have more officials in every sport. #IDPreps

Ford Idaho Center: It is currently managed by the City of Nampa. However, it appears that the management will be transitioned to the College of Western Idaho (CWI). The IHSAA has confirmed that everything will be pretty much status quo for state tournament events there. #IDPreps

2. Baseball/Softball State Sportsmanship Awards: There are currently no sportsmanship awards at the state baseball and softball tournaments. The proposal is to add them for this coming spring season (2026). Motion passes unanimously. Moves to a final reading. #IDPreps

2. Proposed Play-In Game Officials: For basketball only (since 3-man crews are used), officials from a neutral district would be used. If not possible, the higher MaxPreps ranked team would get two officials from their district and the lower ranked team would get one official.
