1/3 So this coming Monday Mid and East Antrim Borough Council will meet to decide if making money is more important than the physical and mental health of the young people in their council area. They will vote to close Team Larne LTS and increase the pool hire costs putting a club that has represented

Not 2 mention the flawed plan by interim chief exec to 'improve' productivity by providing more swimming lessons...without teachers to teach them....in a leisure centre which has to close the pool due to staff shortages and strike actions because of the afore mentioned council

This is the same chief executive (interimming) who will insist to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council that she has engaged in detailed consultation with Team Larne ....... As the head coach of the club responsible for all aquatic activities in club.... She has NEVER consulted with me.

Team Larne has existed in Larne for 50+ years, working alongside Mid and East Antrim Borough Council successfully for that whole time, we run 4 hours of Learn to swim a week (it used to be 6 but @km301010 has removed 1/3 of that already) ALL the money we bring in from these lessons we use 2 pay Mid and East Antrim Borough Council

A fantastic ambassador for our sport and a superb role model for all young girls (and boys) who dare to dream. We at Team Larne are incredibly proud of our #nornironlady let's just hope that Katrina Morgan and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council don't decide that her dream and her club don't belong in Larne.
