Yesterday, DC Langlow and the crew at Station 58 celebrated FF/EMT Arnold as he received his pin for 10 years of service with Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One. Congratulations on a decade of service and thank you for your dedication to our community.

PUSHED IN AND READY TO ROLL! Yesterday, GHFMO welcomed Medic 58 into service with a traditional Push-In Ceremony at Station 58. Thank you to our Shop and EMS teams for preparing M58. Medic 58 is now in service and ready to respond.

TRAINING NOTICE GHFMO will conduct a large-scale training exercise Thu, Jan 22, at Station 51 on Kimball Dr from 9am–5pm. Residents and businesses in the area may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and hear loud noises. THIS IS A TRAINING ONLY, NOT AN EMERGENCY.

At approximately 7:09 AM, GHFMO was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 6000 block of Cromwell Beach Drive.   The residence was equipped with residential fire sprinklers, which activated prior to GHFMO arrival, helping contain the fire and limit damage.

Gig Harbor Fire and Medic One units were dispatched to the 3600 blk of 92nd AVE NW for a detached garage fire. The fire has now been extinguished. No firefighter or civilian injuries are reported. Thank you to Pen Light and Pierce County Sheriff for the assistance.
