Of course, pay is the main challenge in the The BMA NHS Employers negotiations, but if one of the other outcomes isn’t fixing situations like this with a move toward preferential rostering and personalised pay - I’ll be profoundly disappointed.

Like for many doctors, I found #Breathtaking really tough watching. Every small detail made it more challenging. Looking back at that time, and where we are now, makes me wonder how quickly those sacrifices are being forgotten.

This narrative is harmful and unfair. All the doctors I work with want to make changes to improve the lives of our patients and communities. However, doctors will always stand up for ensuring the safety of patients and that any changes are based on evidence-based practice.
