What an amazing day! Visits to Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. Followed by a glacier walk on Solheimajokull then Reynisfjara beach with basalt columns. Finally a fabulous visit to Lava Show which is brilliant every time! #geographyinaction @DTW_Education

To round off an awesome day we were treated to the Northern Lights!

After beautiful Northern Lights last night we are being treated to another sunrise and off we go again!

Wow Jokulsarlon you didn’t disappoint! Icebergs, seals and diamond beach. Plus a trip to Eldhraun to see the lava fields. Beautiful sunshine and less windy than yesterday!

Final glacier of the day Svínafellsjökull. The scenery really is so beautiful.

A wonderful experience at Hveragerdi Geothermal Centre. Rye bread and boiled eggs cooked in thermal hot springs.

Today has been great fun! A trip to Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs, a roadside Icelandic Horse stop and finally Thingvellir to see the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Fabulous day out!

On our final day we have visited Perlan to see an awesome aurora show, lava exhibition and an ice cave! We then went to FlyOver Iceland for an incredible virtual experience.
