Congrats to Milner Group at Cornell University on his positive Tenure vote CornellChemistry! 🍾🥂

So excited to share our work controlling NHC organocatalysis is now published in Angew! This was a massive effort, led by Le Dung (July) Pham. I’m so proud of how it turned out!

Orange you glad it's almost Halloween! Happy fall from the Coates group! Thank you Geoff Coates for a fun evening of pumpkin carving! 🎃🎃🎃

Happy Holidays from the Coates group! Cheers to a great 2023 and looking forward to the next year with this wonderful group! Thank you Geoff Coates for another great holiday party! 🎄🎁🎉

For the chemists out there, this research started in the early 2000's as one of my job proposals. It only took 20 'short' years to get it to market! Kudos to Zengquan Qin from Coates Group who discovered the catalyst, and Scott Allen and the Novomer folks for their hard work.

The Coates Crew took on Lynah Rink to watch Cornell v. Harvard on Saturday! Did anyone else smell the fish? 🐡🏒🥅 And Cornell won!! Geoff Coates

Congrats to the team at Ecolectro, Inc. for making the top 100 on this list! time.com/collection/ame…

Members of the Coates group helped organize the annual Expanding Your Horizons at Cornell conference, helped run a workshop, and accompanied conference participants during their day! A lot of hard work went into this great conference and so happy we get to be a part of it every year!
