Following on from the disbandment of its previous, discriminatory, failed scheme, Greenwich Council has covertly released a report announcing the rollout of more #LTNs. Read more here... onegreenwich.org/greenwich-coun…

I’ve ‘called in’ Greenwich Council’s decision to press ahead with its West & East Greenwich Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN). Lots of issues that need scrutiny 👇👇👇+ important that residents have chance to scrutinise too. Background on The Greenwich Wire greenwichwire.co.uk/2024/03/02/rus…

So sad to hear about John who served continuously on Greenwich Council for nearly a quarter of a century. Proud to have been a colleague of a Councillor like John who worked so hard for the residents he represented - care and dedication were his watchwords - he’ll be much missed

The lavender is blooming, the weather has improved a bit and it’s good to see the bees being busy. Taken a while for them to appear this year

The OECD data today yet again shows that Labour were left a strong economic inheritance, despite their desperation to say otherwise. The Chancellor's choices at the Budget will be hers and hers alone.

Yet another evening punctuated by random loud firework explosions - no consideration for other residents / pets and none for local wildlife. Time to ban them ? Or at least restrict the “war zone” type explosions ?

#Greenwich Council has spent £60,000 on removing and rectifying confusing and potentially unlawful #LTN signage. Meanwhile, cuts continue to be made to essential services, including the removal of lollypop people outside primary schools. Read more below bit.ly/41rhsDn

Good turnout for Greenwich Council’s LTN feedback session at Mycenae House tonight. Majority had a negative view and some anger. Trust in Council on this not high

Royal Borough of Greenwich⁩ Yet again bins in Vicarage Avenue SE3 overflowing - having to step over dog poo bags on pathway. Litter / cigarette buts around benches. A pleasant spot spoiled by Council apathy and some couldn’t care less about environment folks.
