📸 Our #workshop entitled "Engaging in diverse teams" took place this morning as a prelude to #SGMLausanne2022 in the beautiful Palais de Rumine 🏰! We discussed the benefits that #DiversityandInclusion bring for scientific advancement and research culture 👨🏿‍🎓👩🏻‍🔬🧑🏼‍🏫👩🏽‍🎓 #womeninSTEM

1️⃣ We started with a very inspiring talk by Prof. Christopher Jackson @seis_matters on #racialdiversity in geoscience. He shared with us his life experience and on how important is #diversity in geosciences for our society! Thanks again to him for joining us at #SGMLausanne2022🤗

2️⃣ workshop continued with an interactive talk by Siara Isaac on #implicitbias followed by an exercice in small groups. Tools were given us to help us build more diverse teams and how it can help us to increase our #efficiency and #productivity in science! Thanks a lot to her!
