Not all our customers are also our neighbors, but they do all appreciate the freedom to store, combine, and share that comes with using open data!

Also consider this when sending coordinates to a 3rd party service (for example when reverse geocoding). You don't need to send them an 8+ digit coordinate, and there's a slight chance of supplying what is effectively uniquely identifying information if you do.
