Today court has remanded the 12 climate activists to 16th October,2025. They have spent 2 months in prison now !. The magistrate adjourned the matter after state tried to sneak in new evidence that was neither in the disclosure or served to the lawyers .

Despite being arrested for peacefully petitioning Stanbic Bank to #StopEACOP, the state had no case against our 12 climate defenders. The court adjourned after the prosecution failed to present sufficient evidence. This is a harassment of activists—we demand #JusticeForThe12!

Denied bail again! Yesterday 3 female activists and other environmental defenders arrested for peacefully delivering a petition against the EACOP to Stanbic Bank have now spent over 3 months in jail. Their case has been adjourned to October 20, 2025. #constitutional rights.
