Congratulations Oskar (OGG’21)! After excelling with the Bendigo Pioneers in the NAB League and the Geelong Cats VFL side in the first half of 2022, Oskar was drafted by the Suns with Pick 7 in last night’s mid-season AFL draft.

Brilliant news for Year 12 student Georgia Gall! Georgia, who has spent the past two seasons with the Melbourne Stars in the WBBL, is just the second Geelong Grammar School student to be drafted by an AFLW club.

The first episode of Off Country premieres tonight on NITV at 8pm AEST. The documentary series follows seven Indigenous students at GGS during what proved to be a tumultuous 2020. The series will be available for streaming through SBS On Demand.
