GCI is also proud to celebrate the success of three 2025 Fire Academy graduates. Dylan Fuller-Gallo (pictured), Jaxson Flood, and Ayda Goodman have each been hired by the Grand Blanc City Fire Department, where they will continue their training and serve the community.

📸 Say Cheese! It’s Photo Day at GCI! Unlike traditional schools, our photos aren’t for yearbooks—they’re for student ID tags. These IDs play an important role in strengthening our security process and keeping every student safe on campus.

Career Pathways classroom is designed for students with IEPs to support their transition services as they prepare for further education or future employment and life after high school. Students practiced how to safely add collars as part of their hands-on Vet Med experience.

September 11, 2001 — We Remember GCI, we are proud to prepare the next generation of heroes through our Fire Academy, Public Safety, JROTC, and 911 Operator programs. These students are training to serve their communities with the same courage and dedication shown on 9/11.

Our 1st-year welding students are in the lab during their second week, refining their skills and learning best practices. Meanwhile, 2nd-year students are stepping up in newly developed leadership teams — building career readiness skills and preparing for certification tests.

Please know that GCI buses are running to all partner schools today, including those closed due to the tragedy. Students arriving at GCI will notice extra security and additional support staff on-site. The safety and well-being of our students is always our top priority.

Our Agriscience students rolled up their sleeves and spent the day at Forgotten Harvest Farms picking jalapeño peppers 🌶️. Hands-on learning, teamwork, and community service all in one! A huge shout-out to their amazing teacher, Mrs. Groom, for taking them on these experiences.

At GCI, certifications matter. ✅ Every year, our students collectively earn thousands of industry-recognized certifications. This week, our Medical students added CPR certification to their skillset — practicing on infant and adult mannequins and preparing to save lives. 💙
