Our tiny sunflower seeds have grown into , green, long stems with large healthy , green leaves. Daily in Nursery we enjoy watering our plants and watching the sunflowers grow taller and taller. Lets see if they grow as tall as the children and little Mrs Davis 😊!
Lovely to come together with Reception this morning for our 'Sports Day'. we where so fast ! It was fantastic to be apart of today and see the children take on new challenges ,it was a lot of fun. Well done everyone👏
This week the children have been exploring repeating patterns. They have chosen two or three different colours observing what colour they would need next.
This week we have been learning all about 'The very hungry caterpillar 'We have loved listening to the story and very much enjoyed various activities throughout the week .We even made our very own playdough, creating a caterpillar to take home.
.The children made sandwiches and enjoyed eating them in the sunshine. We are so proud of you all ! wishing you all you the very best at your big school. We will miss you all so much ! please pop in from time to time to say hi . Have a fab summer!!
The children in Nursery have loved the story 'Brown bear, brown bear what do you see?' Reciting the story themselves and identifying different colours all around the Nursery.
We had so much fun making our very own shaped biscuits in Nursery this week . we made stars ,circles and heart shaped biscuit. We had one for our snack with our friends and they tasted delicious ! we also took one home to show are grown ups what we had made .
The children loved listening and joining in with the story 'Don't put your finger in the jelly, Nelly' By Nick Sharratt this week. They have made their own wobbly jelly and took them home today .Well done Nursery.
We have been using a 'feely bag' in Nursery this week to help develop us develop our language skills. we loved trying to describe the different objects to our friends and adults.
We had a brilliant time in Nursery, using our gross-motor skills to help our handwriting .We did our big write to the music "in the hall of the Mountain king" . The children did mark-making to the sound of the music, making big and small ,moving side to side and round, amazing.
In nursery this week we have been reading to the story of 'Cinderella' written by a man called 'Nick Sharratt'.
We turned our home corner in to the best shoe shop in Malvern. Lots of smiles from the children as they tried on many different sized shoes.
