Transpired today. If you somehow aren't in the loop, Seele made a long thread on the fetishizing of yuri and the such in the parody community. I would suggest reading it, she brought to light a serious issue, so I'm not here to talk about that. I'm here to talk about -

How the Fate community reacted to all of this and a certain incident thst broke out from it..

I need it to be super fucking clear, the fate community shouldn't have reacted the way they did. That wasn't acceptable when the thread first came out. Seele was talking about one person and one person in specific, I know with how she worded it, it essentially became a stray

But that goes far beside the point of the original thread and what it was trying to say. And then everything that happened with the Illya and their friends was simply unacceptable and what was said was simply vulgar..

With all that said, please, PLEASE read Seele's original thread I cannot say that enough, she brought up a serious issue in our community thst deserves more light shined on it! Though, what I won't tolerate is how the rest of the ptwt community is treating now EVERY fate parody

Guys please, we are humans behind these screens. We are all here for the same reason, to have fun, to edit, to get away from real life for even a second. I know, I KNOW, what Illya and their friend said, I know what Seele went through and I won't undermine that -

But to call all of us n@zis, to compare us to Israel, to call all of us Epsteins and the KKK? Have some fucking class. It's not even just "it hurts our feelings, stop it, stop it!!!" It also takes way from the original thread, what it was trying to say

So can we for one moment look back at it all? It goes beyond "Fate has been set back 300 years." Or rep, we have friends we made here, because we all shared an interest, and now because of this situation we all need to be ridiculed for it? For lack of better words, grow up

I think that's mostly everything I wish to say for the most part about it all. This whole thing has taken a bit on my mental, it's heartbreaking to see this community implode in on itself as easy as this.. I wish everyone who read this a good night/evening/day
