Happy Birthday to Belfast-born Damien Magee, 80. Magee raced in a variety of F3 series (1972-1973), finishing a fine 3rd at the 1973 Monaco F3 event. In European F5000 (1973-1976), he was runner-up in the 1976 series. In 1975, Magee finished 14th for Williams at the Swedish GP.

Happy Birthday to Domenico Schiattarella, 58 today. Italian F3 runner-up in 1991, Schiattarella drove for Simtek (1994-1995) in 7 Grand Prix, finishing 9th in Argentina in 1995. He also started several CART races, & finished 6th at the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans. #F1
