I just attended the Celebration of Life for my former Senate colleague and dear friend John Warner. A true patriot, his legacy of placing policy ahead of politics is one for us to not only celebrate, but to follow in today’s polarized environment.

My thoughts are with the family of Former Senator Mike Enzi as he is laid to rest today. It was a privilege to work with Mike as he exemplified the very best ideals of public service in serving his beloved Wyoming and the nation.

Jock and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Colin Powell. His legacy of serving the nation he loved with honor and courage, as both a general and a statesman, will be everlasting. It was a privilege to work with him, and our thoughts are with his family.

With former @SenatorDole’s passing, America has lost a decorated war veteran, a dedicated leader, and a true public servant. Bob Dole lived a life of an unending devotion to his nation which he served with honor, courage, distinction, and integrity. #RememberingBobDole

This devastating decision rolling back a half-century of precedent on a woman’s constitutional right to make her own decision is a travesty of justice. It is inconceivable that, in 21st century America, we have arrived at this tragic and undeniable retrenchment of women’s rights.

As Queen Elizabeth is laid to rest, I want to pay tribute to her historic reign characterized by unwavering dedication and devotion to duty in lifelong service to her beloved nation.

As a formidable voice for change, Pat was relentless in her pursuit of justice and equality. I recall with pride my time with her as Co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Women’s Issues where we drove a bipartisan agenda to address critical challenges facing women in America.
