This is our Ste, he’s written a ruddy brilliant food menu for The Foresters. Basically, it’s bangin’ pub classics dialled up with really excellent ingredients. He’ll be serving it up from midday today if you fancy it?

Here’s the food menu, had a few folk asking so have a gander! We’ll be starting Sunday Lunches in a few week once we’re settled in. Until then I’d be opting for that sausage n mash or the bacon chop on a day like today. But you do you.

Any lunch plans? All our snacks are 3for2 on lunchtimes Monday to Friday. So you could get this handsome handmade sausage roll, a Sheffield Fishcake and the Welsh rarebit and only pay for two of em. Not bad eh.

Bacon chop, chips n egg. A pub classic dialled up with the great pork we get from Moss Valley. Spot of brown sauce on this and you’re absolutely set. Oh ah.

Yorkshire Rhubarb Trifle 👌 One of a trio of classic nostalgic puds on our menu. (Along with a sticky toffee pud and a crumble ❤️) Perfect way to end a meal in the pub.

Guinness & Oysters for St Patrick’s Day? Now that sounds like a decent plan to us!

Last Friday our fish & chips were flying off the pass (not literally) We open at midday today on this fine bank holiday in Sheffield. Chippy tea and a few pints? Absolutely ideal eh?

Good look to all the runners in the Sheffield Half today We’ll be waiting for you with your reward when you finish. Sunday Lunch and a few pints we reckon? You’ll have earned it!

Bank holiday weekend almost over then? Here’s an idea, pick a day this week to treat yourself to chip butty for lunch at our place. A nice soft landing and summat to look forward to. This ones got curry sauce on it. Job done.

Today we are proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pale Rider winning @gbbf_official Beer of Britain in 2004. We’ll be making the whole month of August a celebration. We have some exciting news to follow next week! Cheers to 20 years 🍻
