Perhaps another generation of science teachers at Fox Middle School?? I'd like to think so! Fox Middle School #inthegenes
The class is definitely more crowded, louder, and much more chaotic... and I'm loving every second hearing these kids excited, and laughing while learning with their friends again! Fox Middle School
Kids flip out for Science and STEM!! Today we are testing to find the perfect amount of water to get a successful bottle flip. Lots of fun in the name of science! Fox Middle School
End of the year fun with the classic Elephant Toothpaste experiment. Students were in charge of gathering, measuring, and cleanup of all materials. They did a great job (and still not too cool to play with foamy goo 😉) Fox Middle School
Before we start using the computers in Coding 101, we did a fun problem solving activity to prepare them for the challenges ahead. Creating the tallest tower using only 20 pieces of paper, winning tower was over 120cm! Fox Middle School
Great turnout for our first meeting of Chess Club! These kids come with some dangerous skills already! I see a tournament forming in the future! Fox Middle School
Practicing data tables and graphing using the scientific method! Answering the age old question, "which bounced higher, a golf ball or ping pong ball? Fox Middle School
Using graduated cylinders to measure volume and find the volume of irregular objects using water displacement. Fox Middle School
We had a beautiful sunrise this morning, but the end of the day was amazing too! I believe we got an example of "cloud streets" that form when rising warm air slowly cools and the dropping cold air form clouds parallel to the wind, leaving one side cloudless! Fox Middle School
It was great to have Mrs Schuh's class join us to create our own fossils for our sedimentary rock unit! Big props to my amazing student teacher Ms.Mickle! Fox Middle School
Ok students, I've found a good reason for you to stay up late on a school night! It is a beautiful night to watch the lunar eclipse! If you have any flat earther friends, you can invite them outside to observe one of many pieces of evidence of a round planet. 😉 Fox Middle School
