FMA scholars in grades 2-5 sang beautifully during their Spring Concert outdoors. Parents, faculty, staff, and community members enjoyed this delightful event. Huge shout out to upper music teacher, Elizabeth Higgins, for organizing and AP Deborah Hood-Brown, accompanist!

FMA Field Day 2022 was a blast! Huge shout out to PE teacher, Coach Evan Allen, & Fletcher Maynard PTO for organizing. Many thanks to our parent volunteers & Chi Eta Zeta for helping. It was a huge success!

Sisters With a Dream ended the year on a positive note by celebrating with a tea party. Mayor Siddiqui, former Principal Robin Harris, and Principal Maisha Rounds were among the honored guests!

JK scholars celebrated the end of the year with a “QU” wedding and bubble ceremony! Shout out to Ms. Ali Basu and Mr. Loren Chen for organizing, and to our JK families for bringing delicious dishes to share!

FMA scholars shined during the Talent Show and 5th Grade Moving On Ceremony!

MAJOR wins @ FMA! Kindergarteners scoring at/above grade level in word segmenting increased by 12 points from 31% to 43%! The percentage of 1st graders performing well below grade level in reading decreased by 10 points from 18% to 8%!

The percentage of students in grades 3-5 scoring mid/above grade level in ELA increased by 19 points from 39% in October to 58% in June!

Students across nearly all demographic groups exceeded their growth goals, with students in grades 3 and 5 making 2 years or more of growth in a single academic year!

Scholars with disabilities exceeded ELA growth goals by 68 percentage points!!!

We finished well! Lots of celebrations and graduations ended the year on a high note!

Major wins in Math! For context, 5 points would be considered aggressive growth. In Math, scholars in grades 3-5 grew by 40 points!!!
