We have a wonderful arts crawl on the Northside every year called FLOW, it is happening this weekend you should make your way over to North Mpls and check it out. It will be great for you and your fam.

Its ironic, we've never had a safety incident at FLOW, always been a loving and caring environment on some of the very streets that suffer the most pathology. Clearly there is something to the effectiveness of this type of event as anti-violence in the community.

Ironic because instead of our city investing in this proven tactic, investing in having 100 FLOWs on the Northside, constant and thriving amenities as an anti-violence strategy, we invest in more expensive, violent and ineffective police as our major anti-violence strategy.
