🌍✨ Had the pleasure of giving two talks on soil and soil health as part of the ECHO project, a fantastic citizen science initiative empowering people to monitor and protect European soils 🏞️🌱 Big thanks to Fundación Ibercivis and Sagarrak Ekologista Taldea for making it happen 🙌

We are delighted to present our latest study published on Physiologia Plantarum-dx.doi.org/10.1111/ppl.70…. This study is based on a review and meta-analysis of herbaceous plants' response -mainly crops- to the combined action of drought, ET and ECO2. Well done Rubén Vicente FisioKlima-AgroSosT Lab!

New paper of the group! We studied the triple effects of elevated CO2, temperature and drought on herbaceous plants with a systemstic review and meta-analysis led by our postdoc Ander Yoldi Achalandabaso. Collaboration between GREEN-IT IRNASA-CSIC FisioKlima-AgroSosT Lab

Exciting news! Our team at FisioKlima-AgroSosT Lab is growing! 🎉 Welcome Ane Kortabarria Perez, who is starting her PhD on resurrection plants, species that can survive extreme dehydration🌱💧. Looking forward to the great research ahead!

🚀 Exciting news! Daniel Marino and Diego Tazueco from our group have visited CBGP to share insights on root system research as part of the Raíces para el futuro (RED2022-134836-T) network. 🌱✨Great discussions on plant resilience & future collaborations. 🌾

Last weekend we did the first field work of the year in San Juan de la Peña (Huesca, Spain), trying to understand how Ramonda myconi thrives in winter conditions 🌱❄️ What a great team to work with! Jon Miranda-Apodaca Guillesofilo López Did you know that R. myconi is freezing tolerant?🥶

📢Our team member Maddi Artamendi was recently interviewed by Campusa Magazine, discussing her study published in NatureEcoEvo. The research highlights how declining pollinator diversity negatively impacts plant reproduction. 📄Read it here: ehu.eus/en/web/campusa…

Our team member Iker Pardo led a research collaborating with Gobierno de Navarra, GAN NIK and @davidjcampion! The study uncovers the habitat thresolds of Europe’s most endangered woodpecker using advanced GPS tracking, bridging conservation and forestry management doi.org/10.1016/j.tfp.…
