Launched #OTD in 1930, at John Brown's Clydebank yard, RMS Empress of Britain. Commissioned by the Canadian Pacific Railroad Co., at the time, she was the largest ship the yard had built. Converted to a troopship, she was sunk by enemy action, off Ireland, in October 1940.
