We are on the road to Elko High School for day 1 of division duals! Day 1 schedule: Dual 1 vs. Truckee Dual 2 vs. Dayton Dual 3 vs. Sparks Dual 4 vs. Lowry Dual 5 vs. Churchill County This weekend’s results will determine seeding for regionals next week.

Truckee forfeits their dual against Fernley. Then Fernley beats Dayton 84-0.

Fernley finishes the day with a 78-6 win over Sparks, a 43-29 win over Lowry and a 67-12 win over Churchill County! Wrestling resumes tomorrow morning at 8:30am.

Day 2: Fernley loses a tough one to defending state champs, Spring Creek, but bounce back with wins over Elko (54-27), North Valleys (51-24) & South Tahoe (57-24). Fernley finishes with a 7-1 record at division duals. Regionals next week!

Today’s the day! Regionals at Sparks high school. The Vaqueros will battle the next two days to see who qualifies for the state championship tournament next weekend! Top 4 in each weight class qualify for state!

Brandon Monteiro, Travis Kollar, John Owens & Kale Kreller are in the consolation quarterfinals. Kyle Jones & Alec Carr are in the consolation semis. Fernley in 3rd overall as a team. Big day tomorrow!!
