Congratulations to Drew O'Connor ’22 on becoming the 16th former Dartmouth player to make it to the NHL! Also the 5th former Big Green player to suit up for the Pittsburgh Penguins!

The pipeline from Hanover to Pittsburgh continues as Drew O'Connor ’22 joins Lee Stempniak ’05, Ben Lovejoy ’06, Tanner Glass ’07 and Nick Johnson ’08 to suit up for the Pittsburgh Penguins after their time with the Big Green. OC, Lovejoy & Johnson all made their NHL debut with the Pens.

Dropped by school yesterday and ran into the summer camp kids. I was swarmed with a giant hug by about 15 first graders. My heart is full. #lovemystudents #Phyed #Rayschool

The best districts allow their school level admin to be actual leaders and not simply middle management. They trust them and empower them to lead.

Some students just need a chance to shine and some need a second, third, fourth chance and that’s ok too. Just cont to believe in them until they believe in themselves.

I was impressed and felt slightly guilty seeing so many early joggers on the beach. I then sat down and read my book and the guilt faded. I hope you are all recharging however you need to. #PhysEd #BeachTherapy

Students decorated their cookies with a partner today! Partners took turns underhand tossing from various spots into buckets. If they made it in they got to go trick or treating for one item from the baskets filled with goodies to use on their cookie. #Physed #Underhand #Creative
