We mourn with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the loss of Deputy Michael Hartwick, who was killed in the line of duty while serving his community. To the suspect, who fled the scene, no matter where you are hiding, turn yourself in to law enforcement.

Washington State Trooper Dean Atkinson, shot in the face, drives himself to the hospital, where he is later air lifted to a trauma center. Miraculously now listed in stable condition. Suspect is in custody on one million dollar bond.
