Our Hazmat teams are evaluating a scene at River Street and N Souder Avenue. Residents are being advised to shelter in place who live within the boundaries of 315 to the East; Dublin Road to the North; West Broad Street to the South and Hartford Street to the West.

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is issuing an Air Quality Alert for Central Ohio for 07-15-2025. Conditions may be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. The Air Quality Index is forecasted to reach:101, due to Ozone Pollution.

While you may see some thunderstorms this morning, additional thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, increasing the potential for locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. A cold front drops south into the area on Thursday, providing another opportunity.

Thunderstorms, some with heavy rain, are likely today through Friday... especially south of Interstate 70.

There is the potential for severe thunderstorms on Saturday, from mid afternoon through the evening. Damaging straight-line winds are the primary threat, although a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
