The FBCA joined sector colleagues to provide evidence to the UK COVID-19 Inquiry yesterday. There were 1.3 million deaths Jan 2020 - April 2022 and to represent this within the time provided was difficult. This why we call for a module dedicated to Death Care.

Another great development which will help to raise standards within the UK Crematoria & Cemetery Sector. Courses are currently free to anyone holding a Certificate of Proficiency to Cremate recognised in the Statutory Guidance for Crematoria (PG 5/2 -12)
