What's the main source of transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace? Breakrooms. Take action to prevent these transmissions by taking breaks outdoors, staggering break times and reconfiguring rooms to ensure social distancing.

An mRNA vaccine doesn't actually contain the virus itself. Think of it as an email sent to your immune system that shows what the virus looks like, instructions to kill it, and then—like a Snapchat message—it disappears. Amazing technology.

DC residents - please be aware that we are experiencing a rapid increase in local cases. Government mask mandates have been re-instituted. I highly recommend wearing an n95/equivalent 😷 in indoor public places until the situation improves.

Hi everyone, I'm recruiting a couple of research coordinators for my recently awarded U01. If you know of any recent grads interested in TMS, fMRI, or computational modelling, send them my way. wd1.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/upe…

We are not having enough conversations about the impact plastic surgery is having on Black women. Though BBLs aren’t favorable operations in the US. That’s not stopping our patients from traveling for them.

And they will tell us: You can't possibly regulate effectively anyway, because the tech is moving too fast. But (channeling Ryan Calo here): The point of regulation isn't to micromanage specific technologies but rather to establish and protect rights. And those are enduring. >>

Affirmative action 🧵: Yesterday I had to look up my endocrinologist’s office info to get a referral. I happened upon the fact that she graduated Columbia 5 years after I did. Which meant I was part of the team that admitted her, a team that regularly acted affirmatively.
