This is so well deserved! I could not be more proud! On top of being a world class computer systems architecture researcher, Andy Sampson is just an incredible human being, creative, hardworking, caring and fun! Congratulations, Adrian! 😍

Super excited to announce that Meghan Cowan has joined RiSE Team @ MSR, Microsoft Research. She works in program synthesis, formal methods, compilers, homomorphic encryption, among others. She officially joined a few weeks ago, but Luis Ceze would not let her go that easily :)

✨ Jean Yang ✨ I went through a similar process and wrote something rather similar in my "manifesto" from a few years ago. It's very…liberating. But really hard to get to that point, because all of academia (society?) is designed to keep you from it.

I’m excited to share that I’ve accepted a position as an assistant professor at UChicagoCS and Data Science Institute starting in 2022! It’s a dream come true for me. I’m looking forward to joining my amazing colleagues and building my lab, focused on interfaces for data cognition!
