MONKEY UPDATE: They have not been caught/returned to enclosures. They are "playfully exploring the perimeter fence of the facility, engaging with those still inside by cooing to them." Officials say they are exhibiting calm/playful behavior & ask residents to stay away from area.

UPDATE ON ESCAPED MONKEYS: The CEO of Alpha Genesis confirmed this evening the successful recovery of 24 monkeys - bringing the total to 25/43. Officials say “initial reports from the veterinary team indicate that all recovered animals are in good health.”
