I didn’t care what anyone says, & yes I fully appreciate that the owners at the club are the heart of this clubs demise over the last 12+ years, but a great manager can make a huge difference at ANY club. Ten Hag wasn’t it. Amorim isn’t it, especially! Moyes wasn’t. Blunt truth

“Firing another manager is ignoring 13 years of failure and continuing the cycle” There are levels to failure, and Ruben Amorim’s is incomparable to his predecessors.

As bad as Utd are and have been, managers will still jump ship & have a go at it. The club is monumental in stature & heritage. The lure of being the man to restore it back to its glory days, is one that will always tempt managers. There would be no finer accomplishment.

I want Utd to win vs Sunderland & I hope it is the start of a good run of form for Amorim. History suggests otherwise. 11 months of Amorim suggests that Utd could sneak a close win & then well beaten at Anfield 2 weeks later. A win only buys him time until the Int break in Nov.

I genuinely don’t think Amorim has anything to lose. Bayindir isn’t good enough, but he wasn’t to blame for Utd’s loss last weekend. His save rate is the worst in the league apparently & that tells its own story. He doesn’t keep enough out. This is a good game for him to debut.

I said this weeks ago, but it’s more of a 3241, not 3223. With this, it allows Utd to play more offensive players alongside have more bodies in the middle & stability. The wide areas will always be a concern, but any system with 3 at the back is if you’ve not got good wing backs

This could potentially see Utd fans off if he arrives as the manager. Hiring managers based off International management is a major red flag.

Am I missing something here? All of those records are significantly better than Amorim’s, especially Fergie’s and Klopp’s. So if their starts are deemed as slow, then what’s Amorim’s? #Clickbait

Amorim is Utd’s worst performing permanent manager for 94 years. I don’t know of one Utd fan that expects Utd to be back at the top or even challenging for a CL spot, but come on, Rob. Utd finished 15th last season, 14th now after 6 games. Should this be the expectation now? SMH

Amorim’s attitude will always be no matter what happens or how many games we lose, we don’t change the system. I believe Amorim would be content to send Utd down with it, but he shouldn’t be allowed to get anywhere near that stage. He will go down with his system & he knows it.

A defeat tomorrow *should* see the end of Amorim. A win keeps him in over the next few games before the International break in November. Either way, he’ll know it’s bleak, we all do. He needs a miracle, & he needs to find a solution to get some results. The faith in him is low.

I worry about Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo picking up the flakey, losing mentality at this club. Utd have chocked in big moments this season. Bruno missing crucial pens. Big chances missed, errors all over the place. Players not winning duals etc. It’s contagious at this club now.

I’m yet to see this charismatic man they all said Amorim was before he joined. As time has gone on, I’ve come to think he’s not much better than ten Hag. These managers don’t come across well to the fans.

I don’t see what Shaw gives this team over this lad. Shaw hasn’t been great this season (what a shock!) and I think we’re as the stage where he’s no longer got the legs or fit enough to play as a wing back, and he’s suspect as a CB. Heaven adds more pace & physicality.
