Federal crop has a lot riding on the next 35 days with fall price discovery. I would expect some sort of trade announcement from the fed in the next week. Be prepared as harvest basis is likely going to widen in the western corn belt. A small futures rally of 20¢ in corn coming.

Old enough to remember Alabama’s homicidal fan base wanting Kalen Deboer ran out of town. Funny thing is the same thing happened to Nick Saban in his early years. Are you happy now Tide Nation?!

Trying to get the padded bushing pushed back on the shaft on sieve shaker arm. Anyone ever done this?! I’d really like to castrate the engineer that came up with this design. Bearing went out on shaker arm and bushing needed replaced too. Lost a great day of combining over this💩

For what it’s worth…. based off harvest reports this would absolutely thunder f ND soybean growers. Basing a payment off bushels produced is asinine.

A general statement Bean yields suck in ND I repeat bean yields suck in ND. End users inverting the market in peak harvest pressure amid a trade war is close to one of craziest things I have yet to see.

Say this to all the ag groups. But people make it seem like farmers have a choice. You either have land to farm or you don’t. Rock and a hard place. Landlords Cost of Living goes up yoy they want more cash rent and if you don’t give it to them your neighbor would be glad to.

These are one of my favorite “add ons” on our farm. Buttshelling is non existent and yesterday we found 5 kernels in a 10 foot check behind the head. Eliminates almost all header loss in corn. Our beans had virtually no volunteer corn this year.

Thanks Kyle Schultz for making this happen. Bought this quarter 6 years ago and have been nursing it back to health. As a bonus these girls are living their best life.

Current talks of farm bailouts in the grain sector will have a profound effect on mixed operations. Seems all but certain there is going to be an aid package… For every dollar it multiplies how many heifers we keep/purchase to develop. Program aid $ increases domestic 🐮herd

This will put more American Beef on the shelves. Increase demand for 🌽 with more mouths to feed. Reduce 🌽 supply further with more forage crops to feed a larger domestic herd. Also reduces our need for beef imports further boosting national security in a future BRICS world…..

While I don’t agree with ad hoc program payments. It quite frankly drives me nuts. All it does is prop up the land values and keeps aggressive lending institutions from collapse. We need a hard reset in agriculture one where the cream of the crop is left standing.

Most hated cattle rally ever. Cattle feeders even sayin live cattle and beef is too high. SMH. Everyone cryin they want their margin money back. Looks like Donny’s short too. Never figured him for a socialist dictator but 🤷‍♂️. Wut happened to supply and demand making the mkt ?

What’s one thing you have had beat into your mind by ancestors? Mine is to never use a crescent wrench with an impact wrench. That was beat into my head at a very young age. Now when I see people do it I cringe and think man their dad/grandpa must not have chewed their ass for it

Fall herbicides. Started this morning. First time ever for a fall applied residual on our farm. Using PantherSC. Anyone have any do’s or don’ts? I haven’t been impressed with our “Cadillac” weed prevention plan lately. This is $5/ac so I figured it was worth a try.

Secretary Brooke Rollins Donald J. Trump Ronny Jackson Ted Cruz R-CALF USA National Cattlemen's Beef Association American Rancher here. Please stop. For once in my lifetime we are finally making real money. It’s not fair to punish us and say our product is too high because it’s not. It’s actually finally where

In an effort of good faith to help the situation for consumers, I move we suspend the Beef Checkoff until further notice…removing this unnecessary cost is a great first step.

At least farmers have a trade war to blame… In all seriousness, the cattle rancher remarks are very concerning for anyone who believes in capitalism.

Two chunks of pasture for sale within our circle. One is $7,000/acre other is $11,000/acre. Key words: For Sale. Both listed as development or recreation properties. And people wonder why beef is high priced. This is the reality with unbroken ground. Worth more for recreation.
