Some truly astronomical, out-of-this-world, stellar (OK, I'll stop now) poems in here, superbly edited by the universally-acclaimed James Carter and Brian Moses, with illustrations by @Delsdrawings. Somehow they found space for a poem by me in it too. Out next week.
"This is a really lovely book of poems, funny, witty and well written, our favourite one is E for elephant. My little boy has been asking for this book over and over again." buff.ly/2D76RRL Elli Woollard Good Illustration #perfectlypeculiarpets Bloomsbury Education #poetry
So proud of my old friend Martin Edwards' performance as Chris Lewis in #TheLongWalkBack at Greenwich Theatre tonight. I know nothing about cricket (er, there's a bat and a ball, right?), but that didn't matter. Fantastic play.
Little Bear's Spring by Elli Woollard and illustrator Briony May Smith is utterly delightful (and perfect for this time of year!) We have five copies up for grabs, so to be in with a chance of winning one, head this way: booktrust.org.uk/books-and-read…

Our library storytime today is rather dinosaury. I’ve chosen Dinosaurs Don’t Draw by the awesome Elli Woollard @StevenLenton and Macmillan Children's Books Brilliant rhyme-filled fun, with bright bold illustrations, I know our pre-schoolers will love this 🦕🦖💖 #BookMonsters #Librarylife

Just been to my local Durning Library SE11 for a talk by the utterly fantastic Jenni Murray. And got a book signed for my brilliant, courageous daughter, who has been through so much and is more wonderful than she can possibly know. Aren't libraries amazing? Lambeth Libraries
