I am reminded of a close mentor who was attacked online and received death threats after sharing research regarding covid. To see people who only want to uphold integrity and share life-saving evidence-based recommendations have their intentions questioned is heartbreaking.

He came in by ambulance short of breath. Already on CPAP by EMS. Still, he was clearly working hard to breathe. He looked sick. Uncomfortable. Scared. As we got him over to the gurney and his shirt off to switch a a hospital gown, we all noticed the number of Nazi tattoos. 1/

As many of you know, I received multiple surprise medical bills associated with my emergency hospitalization for a cardiac arrest. Several doctors (who I never met btw due to my lack of consciousness) were out of network and therefore, not covered by Cigna

From an ER doc colleague: “I had a COVID pt today with sats in the mid 80s on 6L tell me I was going to tell him he had COVID whether he did or not because I just wanted to make money off him. I was so mad I had to walk out (temporarily). 😡” We are TIRED but are not giving up.
