Last week some of the team visited the Optica Q factory for some product training. Very impressive machine that can optically sort 18t/h of seed potatoes, with 2 ejection lines making it versatile and as the machine is very compact, easy to integrate into existing lines.

Last night we were happy to host the East Midlands Branch of the IAGRE for a company visit to discuss all things crop storage related, some interesting discussions were had and it’s always great to discuss all aspects of agricultural engineering with like minded people

Last week we completed a project for 2 new box potato stores (600 tonnes and 500 tonnes). Both using our COOL50 climate units including ambient ventilation. These stores were also fitted with timber suction walls and our green LED highbay lights to minimise greening of the potato
