Okay, thoughts: Very solid adaptation. I had high hopes based on comments I’d heard, and it delivered. There were only a couple of minor “deviations” from the book in terms of things that did/didn’t happen, but otherwise you could tell all the changes were made for the sake of

ALSO, can we talk about how refreshing it was to have so many aspects of this movie be practical?? Sure, there was still plenty of CGI, but the practical set for the interior of the ship looked AMAZING, and even Rocky was an animatronic or puppet much of the time.
