For the past four years it’s been my job - nay, my PLEASURE - to be the tweeter behind the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation account. This is my final post. It’s been my absolute honor to roast and ratio some of you into the ground in the name of science. Let’s take a trip down memory lane: 🧵

I realized I forgot to announce here - I’ve started a new job! I’m the Kansas City/Northwest media specialist for the Missouri Department of Conservation! I am so thrilled to have landed this dream job helping to tell stories of the amazing nature and wildlife work in Missouri 🥰

I credit a lot of my success to learning from Dave every day as an intern. And even when the internship was over, he invited me along to teach me to photograph college football just because he could! Now, I’m so grateful for our continued friendship. He’s truly one of the best 🌟

Last night’s Aurora was so much brighter than in May! I still can’t believe I can capture things like this all the way down in Kansas City.

A small murmuration of starlings swooped past me in St. Joseph yesterday 🪶🐦‍⬛ I know they’re invasive (which is not cool) but they make funky shapes in the air (which is cool)!

Spent a beautiful day in some Missouri wetlands yesterday 🦆
