Year 5 and 6 have been getting straight into all things storytelling with a session led by Mrs Kirtlan. This enhanced their learning on deforestation and provided a real hook into their upcoming persuasive letter writing unit.

Year 1 started their DT unit 'Mechanisms' by looking at books with slider mechanisms. They found out that some sliders go up and down and some go side to side. They enjoyed finding these in 'The Gruffalo'!
