Last summer, I chose not to attend the virtual commencement in hopes that by Feb. 2021 (winter commencement) we’d be back to some normalcy. Well, today would’ve been my in-person commencement for my doctorate. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, we had a virtual celebration.

We were supposed to arrive to beautiful Hilo, HI on Christmas Day, but #SouthwestAirlines cancelled our flights & rescheduled us (party of 6) us to depart on 12/27 at 6:45am MST. After a long day (bcz of SW) we finally made it to Hilo, but our luggage is on Maui. 😤😑🤬

And we are delayed yet again because #SouthwestAirlines dispatch system crashed nationwide 🤦🏽‍♀️🤬
