It’s evident that realignment hinges on UNC. UNC’s move hinges on BoG vote upon budget submission. BoG’s vote is politically contingent on protecting NC State financially. Until that is figured out, we’re not seeing any moves. I see an even 20-20 member split between SEC & B1G.

Might be a controversial take: we should eliminate all rankings besides the Playoff rankings. That should open the door for more objective valuation of teams through the regular season, and eliminate network influence. Also go the AQ route over 5-11, expand to 18 or 20 teams.
