A Wolf #Spider (subfamily Lycosinae) holds a June #Beetle (subfamily Melolonthinae) in its chelicerae, and the beetle holds an #Ant (genus Solenopsis) in *its* mandibles - it's our more-than-#TwoferTuesday Observation of the Day!

Instead of going to all that effort spraying, strimming, chopping and endlessly tidying and ridding your garden of everything that helps our biodiversity, why not help nature and as Cath says, 'Welcome in the wild.'

Don't Tidy the Garden too much this Winter: Leave the leaves. Leave the pesticides on the garden centre shelf. Leave the deadheads on the flowers. Leave the hedges to grow out. Then there will be more food left for the young Wrens in the Spring...

Brilliant! I know being a younger nature nerd can be isolating when most other enthusiasts you see are of previous generations, so its heartening to see younger role models with influence being brought to the fore. Some thoughtful, vibrant voices here. Well done Butterfly Conservation 🦋
