There was a glorious phrasing that Christopher H. Bidmead (the H. stands for Hamilton) always had for when people would tell him they were watching or inspired by his work: Thanks for helping keep this old stuff of mine alive. What a phrase. What a man. RIP.

Very sad to hear that Christopher H Bidmead, #DoctorWho season 18 script editor & writer has died. He wrote Logopolis, Castrovalva and Frontios and heavily shaped the 1980-1 era, bringing a different style for Tom Baker's farewell year. A generation became fans during that season
