Duvall-KCFD 45 would like to thank our community for celebrating safely! We had a busy yesterday, but only one of the incidents we responded to within our district was a fireworks caused emergency. We had one small fire that appears to have been caused by illegal fireworks use.

STAGE 2 BURN BAN: King County has issued a countywide STAGE 2 Complete Burn Ban effective immediately. All outdoor burning is prohibited. This burn ban will remain in effect until further notice.

The King County Fire Marshal’s Association has modified the burn ban to allow recreational fires, effective today. Outdoor burning of yard debris (residential burning) is still prohibited at this time under the Stage 1 Burn Ban.

The burn ban for fire danger has been lifted. If you live in unincorporated areas of our fire district, you may now get a permit on our website for yard debris burning. Please be careful and monitor our website for changes.

Our Duvall firefighters are visiting Cherry Valley and Stillwater elementary schools this week to talk to K-3 grade kids about fire safety, be sure to ask your littles what they learned.

The Duvall community is invited to a Winter Weather Emergency Preparedness Seminar at the Duvall Fire Station, located at 15600 First Ave NE. Mark your calendars for November 7th at 7:00pm. You will learn essential tips and tricks to stay safe and informed during winter storms.
