We are at 1045pm, and there are still thousands downtown. Food is still being served at a tent outside Village Tavern, for example.

Police have set up a barrier at Washington and Essex, a common rally point for city officials as the cleanup begins.

Turnout in today's #SalemMA elections as of 10 a.m. is 6% city-wide, with Ward 2 showing the highest turnout so far and a few precincts competing for last place.
