Great to get the opportunity this morning to speak on Good Morning Ulster on the Extended Schools funding cuts to highlight the impact on children, schools, families & services on behalf of Barnardo's NI #ourchildrendeservebetter

A morning that left us all smiling! 😊☀️ We were delighted to organise a visit today for Mental Health Champion for NI to Euston Street Primary School to see the wonderful partnership we have to support children with their emotional wellbeing & mental health in school 💚

"1 in 4 children in NI have been growing up in poverty. We need a plan to take radical action on this... Things like a child payment for NI... this could really make a difference to families straight away.”Trása Canavan calling for #NIAntiPovertyStrategy on BBC Sunday Politics.

Delighted our Independent Counselling Service for Schools got an Outstanding Outcome in their recent Education Authority clinical audit! ‘I came to counselling because I didn’t feel happy. Before I thought my colour was dull, now I know that actually, my colour is SHINY!’ #YMHD23

Always a pleasure to meet Barnardo's NI and learn about their life changing work. Today's discussion focused on their counselling framework, data and outcomes and the future of therapeutic interventions in NI's Primary Schools. 💛
