Tim Smith wrong to inflate this; speak to an endo Dr or ward staff; BGL meters reused normally (new strip and lancet every time); lancet holders were previously reused in hospitals too. Disposable now but never evidence of blood borne virus transmission with new lancet in holders

Adenocarcinoma (aka cancer) is sometimes found in endoscopically retrieved polyps We risk stratify to help decide if further mx (resection of a segment of colon) is recommended Area of invasion is important (5-10% of >2mm deep and >4mm wide show lymph node spread) #pathology

GNU Image Program GIMP has a pixel count feature under the “histogram” tab. Shown here, it can be used to estimate tumour % volume using free selection polygon drawing tool and layers. Pixel count for tumour vs prostate layer area #urology #uropathology

Won’t be posting #pathtwitter anymore but can be found on #pathmastodon where #pathology #pathart are flourishing. med-mastodon.com is one server but u can follow hashtags/users across the Fediverse. Once on #Mastodon I recommend web browser or Metatext app on iPhone
